Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a medical framework which has been used as a form of primary health care in China for thousands of years.
The basic principle of TCM is the holistic concept that good health relies on the restoration and maintenance of harmony and balance in the body.
Peakhurst Chinese Medicine was founded in 2003 by Emma Howe. The practice has steadily grown in size and reputation over the years and Emma is now joined by two other practitioners- Sarah Omar and Nuala Walker. All practitioners are university trained and are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation agency.
The focus of the practice is to help bring balance and healing to both body and mind, by using acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine alongside simple respect, care and a real passion to see people healthy, happy and complete.
