Emma Howe- principal Practitioner
Emma Howe is the owner of and practitioner at Peakhurst Chinese Medicine. Emma is university trained, is qualified in the fields of both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine and is a member of the AACMA, the peak professional body for Traditional Chinese Medicine in Australia. She has been practicing at her clinic in Peakhurst since 2003.
Emma specialises in the areas of gynecology, obstetrics, fertility and general women's health. As a Chinese Medicine specialist in these areas, Emma is highly regarded in her industry as well as by many local gynecologists and obstetricians. In the past few years, Emma has been invited to speak at birth classes, IVF support information nights and is referred many a patient by other heath professionals in the local area.
Emma's focus is on bringing balance and healing to both body and mind by using acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine alongside simple respect, care and a desire to see people healthy and happy.
Rachael Haley- Practitioner
Rachael Haley joined the practice in 2010 and is a university trained acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist and a member of the AAMCA. Prior to embarking on her TCM studies, Rachael completed an Advanced Diploma in Myotherapy and is a qualified myotherpaist and member of the IRMA, professional association for myotherapy in Australia.
Rachael's myotherapy background has given her a great platform for her to grow as an acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist. From her background in musculo-skeletal disorders, Rachael now has a keen interest in treating all things internal medicine with acupuncture and/or Chinese Herbs. Rachael's recent trip to China saw her branch off to study in the speciaity fields of internal medicine and gynecology.
