Peakhurst Chinese Medicine was founded in 2003 by principal practitioner Emma Howe.
The practice has steadily grown in size and reputation over its many years of operation. Emma works alongside two other practitioners who have been a part of the family at the practice for many years- Sarah Omar and Nuala Walker. All practitioners at Peakhurst Chinese Medicine are university trained in both Chinese Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture and are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
The focus of the practice is to help bring balance and healing to both body and mind, by using both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine alongside simple respect, care and a real passion to see people healthy and happy.
Covid-19 Changes and Response
As the Covid-19 virus pandemic continues, we are trying to be as responsible as we can with our health and yours.
As such, we continue to follow public health guidelines of social distancing rules where practical and wearing masks indoors. We continue to use previously implemented procedures to meet increased hygiene recommendations set out by the Australian Government Guidelines of Health and SafeWork Australia.
We ask that you sanitise your hands upon arrival and keep your mask on during your treatment unless other requested.
The health of our patients, your families and ourselves as practitioners is a top priority. If you have ANY symptoms that could be linked to the Covid-19 virus, get tested and stay at home. Do not come to your appointment. Call us at the clinic and if you cannot speak to us directly, leave a message to let us know that you have had to cancel your appointment. Alternatively, you can email your practitioner and cancel that way as well.
